lyrics
Oceans,
Who knows how deep, how far
Roses,
Takes more to warm the heart.
Absence makes the heart grow fond,
But I am barely here,
The mannequin lives his life,
Controlled by all he fears.
Forests,
He dreams but never smiles,
Haunted
She's breaking all the while
The elephant in the room,
He nods but barely hears,
The mannequin plays his role,
Held still with silent tears.
She's waiting,
For any sign of life,
But These sun-drenched eyes,
Are blind.
Still she clings to hope,
Drowning,
It leaves her feeling cold.
Absence makes the heart grow cold,
He misses all the signs,
A mannequin makes a home,
Lost inside his mind.
She's waiting,
For any signs of life,
But these sun-drenched eyes,
Are blind.
She's waiting,
For any signs of life,
But these sun-drenched eyes,
Are blind

Almost Honest have continued to push the envelope within the modern heavy underground scene. To David's point, while they reside within the Stoner/Doom landscape, they possess a wildly catchy, diverse and intriguing sense of songwriting, meticulously merging elements of grunge, punk, metal and alternative rock. Honestly, this could be their best work yet. Bucky

I am late to the party, but having a party now none the less!! There are some serious bong smoking riffs going on here. Along with rhythm that is gilded with the elegance of the embroidery of a well worn battle jacket. All delivered at the pace of a Nascar driver on the final lap. The vocals rip through the air with the finesse of a shot of Jack Daniels, so turn it up and clink some bottles with ya mates, and at least, be Almost Honest!! Justin@BlindMouse
